Ryan Reynolds has sent fans into a frenzy, after hinting that Pierce Brosnan may be starring in Deadpool 2.
The Hollywood actor shared a pic of himself, Hugh Jackman and Pierce on Instagram, posed in the position of Gandhi’s monkeys, indicating ‘hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil.’
Alongside the snap Ryan wrote, “Wolvie. Bond. Wade,” leaving his followers to speculate whether the Co.Meath native would be playing a superhero in the Deadpool sequel.
Fans were quick to comment, asking if 63-year-old Pierce will play time-travelling mutant Cable in the upcoming film. One wrote, “Brosnan playing Cable?” Another said, “Cable, right? Come on…say it,” while another simply commented, “Wolverine, Cable, Deadpool?”
Planning of Deadpool 2 is already in motion, with filming set to begin soon, so hopefully the cast list will be revealed soon.
