Ruth Negga is set to play one of her most unusual roles yet.
The actress has played a brave and touch woman in the likes of Loving and Love/Hate, but is set to play a completely different character in the form of a Shakespearian prince.
Ruth will play Hamlet on the stage this autumn at the Gate Theatre.
The iconic story of love, revenge, madness and murder will be directed by internationally acclaimed Yaël Farber.
She will be joined by other talented stars such as Mark Huberman and Fiona Bell.
The show takes place from the 21st of September to the 27th October, 2018.
