TV presenter Eamonn Holmes has been awarded an OBE for services to broadcasting.
The Belfast man receives the award to honour his 38 years in the industry, spanning from Sky News to ITV’s This Morning.
The news was announced yesterday, and Eamonn’s wife and co-presenter Ruth Langsford has now paid tribute to her husband on this exciting milestone.

The former Strictly Come Dancing star shared the news on twitter, adding that she was ‘SO proud of her husband.”
