Ruth Langford was left unimpressed after Eamonn Holmes embraced a controversial female guest on This Morning.
The guest appeared on the show to talk about how she’s been labelled a wicked stepmother by her stepchildren.
She spoke about how on one occasion she threw her Christmas tree out of the house and declared Christmas was cancelled.
Speaking about what happened next she said, “I got in the car and went down to my mum’s. She said, ‘It serves you right, they will always hate your guts’.”
She also said things had gotten so bad that the children had planned her funeral.
Once the interview was over, Eamonn got up and gave the interviewee a hug, and viewers noticed that Ruth looked visibly unimpressed, with one viewer remarking that she was “fuming”.
After the pair embraced, Ruth commented saying, “I thought he was going to invite you over for Christmas dinner!”
