Former Ireland and Ulster rugby player Stephen Ferris married girlfriend Laura McNally on Saturday at a beautiful outdoor ceremony in Co. Cavan over the weekend.
The bride and groom said their vows in front of friends and family at Virginia Park Lodge’s Lavender Gardens, Co Cavan, and they have both been sharing stunning pictures of the big day.
The 31-year-old paid tribute to his stunning new wife, posting a snap of the happy couple captioned “What a special day. I am a very lucky man to have such a beautiful and loving wife @lauramcnally14 To many years of happiness #marriedman”
The Dungannon club man paid tribute to Laura’s late father and brother in his emotional speech on the day.
“It was a really emotional day because everyone knew Stephen and Laura were not only revelling in happiness, but wishing lost loved ones could be there.” A source told The Belfast Telegraph.
“It was especially poignant that Laura’s father was not there, and Stephen said during his speech it was a really fitting occasion on which to honour their memories.
“There were a lot of quiet tears among the guests because of the tributes, but there was a lot of joy, food and drink as well.”
We did it!!!!! BEST DAY EVER #wifey
