RTE’s Joanna Donnelly celebrated her 50th birthday this week surrounded by loved ones.
The Meteorologist marked her big day with a gorgeous family party. She was joined by her husband Harm and their three kids, Nicci, Tobias and Casper for the occasion.
They adorned the room with huge helium balloons, and champagne glasses with the number 50 scrawled across them.
Sharing some beautiful snaps of the big day, Joanna said, “Circumstances may have made my plans moot but not my outlook. Loving life. My family. My friends. Feeling like the luckiest lady alive.”
She added, “I wore this dress for my 30th and my 40th. Gotta pack it away now and see if I’ll make it to 60.”
Early last year, Joanna set herself a goal as she wanted to play Clair de Lune on the piano by her birthday.
Sharing a clip of her performance, she said, “My brother says it’ll be good once I practice a bit. If it’s not too hard then it’s not a challenge hey? 16 months ago I didn’t know what middle C was.”
