RTÉ documentary ‘I Am Immigrant’ is set to shock viewers tomorrow as it airs violent scenes from the launch of an anti-immigration group in Dublin city.

In the second part of the series, viewers will see extreme clashes between anti-Islam group Pegida and anti-racism protesters as they took to the streets back in February.

The launch of Patriotic Europeans against the Islamisation of the West [Pegida], which aims to enforce stricter border controls, took place on O’Connell Street a number of months ago and despite beginning peacefully, ended up with violent attacks.

Over 1,000 people had gathered on the day, and Gardaí with batons were forced to intervene.

The show airs Thursday March 31st at 9.30pm on RTÉ2. Check out the trailer below:
