The Rose of Tralee is a huge event in the Irish entertainment calendar, and this year it is unsure if the event will be taking place.
Due to current restrictions on public gatherings and social distancing measures due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the organisers have said it “is unlikely we will be able to deliver the standard festival this year.”
This is also due to the fact that global travel has also been massively restricted, and with many Roses travelling from overseas it simply doesn’t seem possible.
Organisers are now looking to see if a scaled down version of the event would be able to take place.

The festival which runs for five days and takes place in Tralee has been running for 61 years, and has never been cancelled before.
It was due to take place in August, so hopefully they will be able to even postpone it to a later date.
