Rosanna Davison shares what she has learned from daughter Sophia since her birth

Rosanna Davison is marking 15 months since she and husband Wes Quirke welcomed their daughter Sophia into the world.

Revealing that she love her “so much it hurts”, Rosanna decided to share with her followers what she has learned from toddler Sophia.

Taking to social media, she wrote, “Here are 10 things I’ve discovered so far from having a toddler:

“1. Peace and quiet is wonderful, unless you have a toddler… then it’s just extremely suspicious.

“2. Toddlers are really just emotionally unstable tiny versions of you and everything you own is automatically theirs – especially your phone, necklace and the remote.

“3. Apart from when they’re asleep or securely strapped in a high chair/pushchair, every other waking moment involves anticipating every possible way they can hurt themselves and trying to stop it before it happens.

“4. A toddler will refuse sixty times to eat their own food, but wants exactly what you’re eating and that ball of dog fluff they found under the sofa is particularly delicious.

“5. Any food that ends up around a toddler’s mouth simply must be rubbed vigorously into their eyebrows, hair and ears where it will get all crusty and orange and remain there while they dodge all attempts at having their face cleaned.

“6. The clean-up operation after a toddler’s meal can feel like singlehandedly cleaning up after a three-day music festival.

“7. If nothing else works, bribe them with snacks.

“8. To a toddler, anything that isn’t a toy is much more fun to eat/break/play with, and extra points if it’s a bottle of wine/box of matches.

“9. The fastest way to get a toddler’s attention is to sit down and look like you’re relaxing.

“10. Toddlers may be completely nuts but they’re so damn cute.”

Friends and followers flocked to the comments to agree with Rosanna, with one saying “This could not be more accurate”, while another shared “Our remote is missing since weekend. 17 month old last seen trying to put it in the toilet!”.

Rosanna and Wes have since welcomed twin boys Hugo and Oscar, late last year.
