They say a good dress never goes out of fashion – and Rosanna Davison has been proving that, as she’s been putting little Sophia in dresses that she wore as a child too.
Rosanna has been digging out some of her favourite baby clothes and passing them down to her daughter who looks just as cute in them!
“Bit of a rewear-your-wardrobe theme happening today with Hugo in Sophia’s old babygrow and Sophia wearing this dress that I used to wear as a toddler!
“Love that my mum kept so many of my old baby clothes in case one day I had a daughter of my own.”
The model shared a throwback snap of herself in the guna at the age of two, and revealed it’s bringing her mum Diane immense happiness seeing her granddaughter in these all-too-familiar clothes.
“She’s delighted that Sophia’s big enough now to wear it, lots of happy memories,” she beamed.
As well as little Sophia, Rosanna and her husband Wes Quirke are parents to little, Hugo and Oscar, who they welcomed to the world in November.
“It’s flown by in a bit of a blur of sleepless nights, nappy changes, endlessly soothing colicky babies and constant feeds, while also keeping on top of Sophia’s routine,” Rosanna said of the last few months.
“She’s still not too pleased about their arrival,” she laughed.
“It’s a magical time getting to know these two gorgeous little people, but it’s also a challenging time to be a new mum or dad in lockdown without a normal support system in place.
“We’ve just been taking it day by day, looking after each other and trying to stay positive.”
Rosanna admits one thing that has been playing on her mind, is the constant worry that either herself or Wes will fall ill, especially with current healthcare crisis.
She said, “There have been days recently when I’ve felt really anxious though – what if one or both of us got sick and couldn’t take care of them?
“It’s so important for us all to be patient and kind to ourselves, and do whatever we can to support our emotional well-being and resilience.
“Being given the all-clear to start exercising again has given me a great mood boost, and I’ve been trying to take a little bit of time each day to myself just to get outside for some fresh air.”
Rosanna, who suffered 14 heartbreaking miscarriages before welcoming her three children to the world, is set to write a book about her journey to parenthood over the coming months.
