Rosanna Davison has gotten candid with her followers, opening up about her experience with “mum guilt.”
The model was invited to her friends hen party in Co. Fermanagh, and while she was thrilled to be celebrating her friend, Rosanna was honest about her worries when it came to leaving her kids for the for the night.
As she explained: “I’m all packed off in the car, heading off on a hen weekend with a lovely group of girls up in Northern Ireland so it’s a couple of hours drive.”
“But I’ve just left the house feeling all the anxiety and mum guilt that I suppose is normal but trying to tell myself they’ll be fine, they’re with their dad all weekend.”
The mum-of-three elaborated, explaining that she had never been away from her tots for so long.
But she reassured herself that everything would be fine. Saying: “They’re well able to tell us when they’re hungry or thirsty or anything so I shouldn’t really worry.”
“It’s funny because I’ll miss the kids a lot but I won’t miss the nappy changes, the house work, the dishwasher, the laundry… you better have the house clean when I come home tomorrow Wes!” she joked.
Concluding the former Miss World vowed to “embrace it all and have the best fun and hopefully have a sleep in longer than half five in the morning.”
Thankfully Rosanna had a brilliant time, partying with her friends, making flower crowns, and heading to the spa.
As her trip came to an end, she once again updated followers on her she was feeling.
Sharing a snap of herself enjoying some homecoming cuddles, the author wrote: “Home! Everything was absolutely fine, shouldn’t have worried so much about leaving them for the night.”
