Rosanna Davison has offered her support and encouragement to couples who have put fertility treatment on hold due to Covid19.
The nutritionist, who welcomed baby Sophia last November via surrogacy, understands just how difficult it must be, and urged them to remain hopeful.
Taking to social media, Rosanna said, “We’re incredibly grateful for the timing of Sophia’s birth.
“My heart goes out to the many women and couples who have had to put their fertility treatments on hold at the moment and don’t know what the future will bring. Stay strong.”
Rosanna and Wes first began trying for a baby in 2015, but sadly she endured multiple miscarriages – 14 to be exact.
“People just assume I have this perfect life,” she told VIP Magazine.
“I’ve so much compassion and empathy for people going through fertility issues because it does take its toll, physically and emotionally.”
Extremely grateful for everything that has come her way, Rosanna continued, “I’ll never be able to thank our surrogate enough. Never ever.
“Sophia’s ours now, and we’re a family. But we’ll never forget what it took to have her.
“Every single day I look at her and go, wow. I cannot believe that someone else gave birth to her, but that she is ours. We are just so lucky that it worked, and first time around.”
