It’s always a heartbreaking moment when a pet passes away, as they’re considered part of the family. Rosanna Davison has opened up about her heartbreak over the passing of her beloved dog, Leo.
Taking to her Instagram to share the sad news, Rosanna wrote a sweet message alongside a series of photos of Leo.
“Sad news from our home this morning. We woke to discover that our gorgeous, gentle dog Leo had passed away peacefully in his sleep 💔
“He was only 8 and had slowed down in recent months, but it’s been a huge shock and we’re absolutely heartbroken 😭 He was much loved and lived a very happy life! Give your pets an extra cuddle today ❤️ Rest in peace Leo x 🐾”
Recently, Rosanna had shared how her two Pomeranians Leo and Ted had brought them so much joy, particularly during lockdown. Speaking at a recent launch at Barking Mad Pet Boutique, she shared:
“Everyone has been spending a lot more time at home over the past year. Our gorgeous Pomeranians Ted and Leo have been ever-present in bringing happiness, laughter and love, to our home.
“I must admit… three babies and two dogs are certainly a lot of fun!”
Rosanna also took to her stories to share a poem called ‘The Rainbow Bridge’, adding: “Was hoping to feel a bit better today but still trying to deal with the shock & sadness of losing our little Leo so suddenly. Lots of you have sent this sweet poem. Thank you.”
