Rosanna Davidson shares her maternity style secrets

Dressing with a bump can prove difficult for many women. You’re a completely different shape and size to what you know and are used to, and with a growing baby inside you, you’re only set to change even more.

But just because you are an expecting mum, doesn’t mean you have to hang up your style hat. Dressing in a way that makes you feel good about yourself while also staying comfortable is a tricky line to walk, but it can be done!

Expecting mum, Rosanna Davidson has stepped in to help, however, sharing all of her maternity style secrets with us. Six months pregnant with twin boys, Rosanna tells us that while her style is adapting, she’s still trying to get her head around her ever-changing body.

“I’m still trying to figure out maternity style and I’m finding that my body is changing at such a rapid rate that keeping up with what does or doesn’t fit has been tricky!”

Like most pregnant woman, Rosanna says that staying comfortable is key for her. Adapting to a uniform of a cotton top and black leggings, she says that anything stretchy is a win for her.

“Cotton tank tops and comfy black leggings have been a staple so far. Anything light, stretchy and comfy are my favourites at the moment. I’ve just bought a couple of pairs of maternity jeans from H&M and ASOS too, and find them great,” she says.

When dressing for a not-so-everyday occasion, Rosanna says that she loves a loose-fitting kimono style top, along with smock dresses, which are always a great fit for an expanding waistline.

“I’ve also been wearing lots of kimono style tops and smock dresses. Plus big cosy jumpers too!”
