Rory McIlroy’s ex, Caroline Wozniacki, flew to Monaco, as he tied the knot to Erica Stoll in a lavish ceremony in Co Mayo.
The golfing pro, who famously split from Caroline in 2014, just days after sending out their wedding invitations, was joined by family and friends yesterday as he said “I do” in the idyllic surroundings of Ashford Castle in Cong, Co Mayo.
A number of high profile celebrities are reported to have been in attendance including; Niall Horan, Ed Sheeran, Jamie Dornan, Sergio Garcia and colleagues from Rory’s European Ryder Cup team.
Stevie Wonder also reportedly performed at the exclusive event, which is estimated to have cost over €1.1million.
While the happy couple said their vows, Rory’s ex, Caroline, flew to Monaco for a Rolex event and she shared enviable snaps across her social media accounts.
“Had a fun night.” she wrote in one Tweet, as she shared a full length photo of herself looking stunning on the red carpet.
Speaking about her very public split with Rory in the past she said: “Obviously it was hard at the time, But it was a great experience to go through and come out the other end of it.”
