Ireland’s favourite home renovation show is on the look out for a new star!
Dermot Bannon’s right hand woman on Room To Improve, AKA Lisa O’Brien has decided to leave her position as Quantity Surveyor for the RTE show.
Lisa was a fan favourite and always on hand to keep both Dermot and the client in check when it came to budget, timing and clashes of opinions.
But now, Room To Improve are hiring Lisa’s replacement, and it could be you!
“You need to be your own person, but you also need to concentrate on doing the job,” Lisa told The Sunday Independent.
“All I can do is give financial information to the decision maker, and ultimately that’s the client. Sometimes the client will talk directly to a builder, and that turns things into an absolute mess in terms of cost. I have to tell builders, ‘if it’s not run by me, you’re not getting paid.
“I don’t need to create drama or act – that’s not my forte. If you start acting it’s really apparent, so stick to what you know.
“I’d love it if they got another woman.”
We’ll definitely miss seeing Lisa on our screens next season!
