Ronan Keating has teamed up with Mount Sion choir to release a charity single in honour of his late mum.
All money raised from the track will go towards the Marie Keating Foundation, which offers unwavering support to those battling cancer, and their loved ones.
The foundation was set up following Marie’s death in February 1998, two years after she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
“She’s still in my head I can still hear her all the time,” he said on the Late Late Show.
“It’s still very hard to be honest with you, I miss her terribly. Losing a parent at any age is very hard because they’re the people who make you feel like anything is possible but also that everything is going to be okay.”
Ronan penned This Is Your Song alongside Steve Mac shortly after she passed, and has since recorded it with the Mount Sion choir.
“It’s a very, very special song to me and to have the choir on there is amazing,” he said.
The single will be available from March 5th, but pre-sale begins on February 12th, with all proceeds going to charity.
