Robbie and Claudine Keane are currently fundraising for healthcare workers tackling Covid-19.
The Irish football legend and his model wife recently launched the Go Fund Me page in support of the Our Hospital Heroes Appeal, which is co-ordinated by the Mater Foundation.
On the fundraiser’s page, the couple revealed: “This cause is very close to our hearts. A close relative of ours has been fighting Covid-19 for last two weeks.
“They’ve thankfully come through the worst but without the help of the ICU and HDU teams then the news may have been quite different.
“We will be forever grateful for the sacrifices all the frontline staff have made in every aspect of fighting this virus.”
So far, the Go Fund Me has seen much success, with over €10,000 raised at time of writing.
