Rob Kearney’s girlfriend, model Jess Redden, has been a target of online abuse this week.
The psychology student, who signed to Andrea Roche’s modelling agency last Christmas, has been slated by trolls for being too thin, and some of the comments have been extremely harsh.
Jess recently posed alongside models Sarah Morrissey and Thalia Heffernan on a shoot for the launch of the new Brown Thomas Lingerie Room, but people have had nothing but nasty things to say about it.
Speaking to The Sun, Jess said, “I read some horrible things. I wouldn’t see myself as too thin. I only found out the day before I was doing it. I think a lot of people thought I was starving myself, but I wasn’t at all.
“For anyone actually to have the time to sit down and write out: ‘This girl . . . she needs a burger.’ I could have easily been devastated about it, but I wasn’t. Water off your back. You just have to be happy in your own skin.”

Despite making a name for herself in the modelling industry, the 23-year-old is proving she is much more than a pretty face.
She has decided to return to college in September to study pharmacy and continue with modelling part time, a decision that Leinster hunk Rob 100% supports.
“As long as I’m happy, he’s happy, and vice versa,” she said.
