Over the weekend Rob Kearney and his wife Jess Redden jetted off to Portugal for a family wedding. Rob’s brother, Dave married his long term partner Rebecca Mehigan in a beautiful ceremony in the Algarve.
Since returning home Rob has shared a sweet post congratulating his brother on tying the knot with his long term sweetheart.
Taking to Instagram the rugby star shared a number of pictures from the day alongside a caption saying: “The last to leave the nest and he couldn’t have picked a better bird 😜 – the best weekend filled with laugh after laugh!! Thanks for the memories @dave.kearney@beccamehigan.”

The carousel of pictures shared to Instagram showed a variety of the happy couples friends and family in both colour and black and white.
The couple joined former Leinster rugby player, Dave and his yoga instructor wife, Rebecca in the Algarve for their second wedding ceremony after officially tying the knot back in Dublin only a couple of weeks ago.
It seems it is the season for Irish rugby weddings with Munster rugby star Connor Murray and his longtime girlfriend Joanna Cooper walking down the aisle in Pine Cliffs Resort in the Algarve last week. Irish centre Gerry Ringrose and his girlfriend said their ‘I dos’ in a ceremony on Friday, while Joey Carberry and his now wife Robyn got married in Spain the week previous.
We wish the couple well on their next life journey!
