Think your family has what it takes to go the distance?
Applications for the brand new season of Ireland’s Fittest Family are officially open, and this year’s competition is set to be tougher than ever.
Now heading into its 14th series, the hit show is once again on the hunt for families from across the country who are ready to prove they’ve got the strength, speed and stamina to compete at the highest level.

With new twists and challenges planned, the upcoming season promises plenty of surprises with one lucky family walking away with a €15,000 prize pot and the title of Ireland’s Fittest Family.
Families hoping to apply will need to meet a number of requirements.
Teams must include at least one male and one female member, and represent at least two generations.
Groups can be made up of four immediate family members, including at least one parent or step-parent and one child, or three immediate family members along with an extended relative, such as a grandparent, aunt, uncle or first cousin.
Applicants must also be aged 14 or over by June 14, 2025.
Filming for the new series is set to take place between May and September 2026, with successful families required for up to eight filming days, mostly on location.
