Ray Foley replaces Simon Delaney on Weekend AM following station rejig

Ray Foley has stepped in to replace Simon Delaney on Weekend AM.

The change comes following Mark Cagney’s departure from Ireland AM after 20 years, with Simon filling in for the much loved presenter.

This weekend Ray Foley presented the weekend show alongside regular host Anna Daly, as well as Laura Woods and Aidan Power.

The popular Virgin Media show has had a major rejig in recent weeks, with Mark Cageny’s emotional departure, and presenter Ciara Doherty making a surprise return from maternity leave.

Simon Delaney is the bookies favourite to permanently replace Mark on the weekday show, with Karen Koster returning to her role on Xpose.
