Rachel Allen has bagged herself a spot as co-host of Channel 4’s new and improved culinary show, Kitchen Rules UK.
The first series of the programme featured 30 episodes and aired last year. However, the upcoming second series, which sees amateur chefs transforming their homes into restaurants for one night, will have an additional 10 shows.
Celeb chef Rachel will join restaurateur and Michelin star winner Glynn Purcell on the judging panel to decide which contestant has got what it takes to be crowned the winner and take home the €11,700 prize. The pair will also have help from celebrity guest judges from time to time.
Kitchen Rules UK will follow the Australian format of the show, and will be aired in over 160 countries.
This exciting new career move comes after it was announced that Rachel wouldn’t be appearing alongside Paul Hollywood on The Great British Bake Off.
Congratulations from all in VIP Towers!
