Anna Saccone Joly has hit out at some of her viewers who body shamed her.
The Youtuber recently posted a video of her family holiday and revealed that she received negative comments.
She took to social media to explain how disheartened it made her.
“I feel like some people only watch our holiday vlogs just to body shame me,” she said on Twitter.
“I was feeling pretty good about myself before this trip and now after reading comments, I feel so awful.
“I don’t understand why people watch me if they hate me so much.”
The mother is five-months-pregnant with baby number four and said she was shocked to see people body shame her.
“I don’t usually address this stuff but I am 20 weeks pregnant and I just think it’s so horrible to read countless comments calling you fat and picking apart every aspect of your looks when you’re literally growing a person,” she said.
This is not the first time the Saccone Joly family has been subjected to negative comments online.
The Irish-American vlogger family were forced to hit back when one negative viewer branded their daughter ‘chunky’, ‘overweight’ and ‘delayed’.
“This is the kind of garbage we have to deal with on a daily basis,” Anna said at the time.
“And for anyone who’ll say “just ignore the trolls”, we did. For a whole year. We sucked it up, said nothing and it didn’t get any better, it got WAY worse. People showing up at our house, contacting social services, contacting our children’s schools, our doctors, etc. etc.
She added: “It’s 2018, I’m 30 years old and I’m done just ‘accepting’ internet hate. This isn’t just hate anymore, it’s poison, it’s dangerous and it doesn’t just happen to us.
“This is a huge problem and the more us bloggers/YouTubers speak up about it & support each other the better.”
