After spending the majority of the 12 months in our homes due to various lockdowns, we’ve been picking apart certain parts of the home, planning updates and renovations and Pippa O’Connor is no different.
The POCO founder and mum-of-two has been busy planning some updates to her gorgeous Kildare abode with husband Brian Ormond.
The pair are planning to revamp their living room with some new coverings on furniture and cushions, as well as completely overhauling the garage.
For the living room, they’ll be going for different materials in soft greys, white and shades of blue.
Sharing a preview of some of the material, Pippa said, “I just thought ‘Chanel’ when I saw this fabric. It’s absolutely stunning.”
At the same time, they’ll be working on a much larger project as they transform the garage into a useable living space.
“When we moved into this house four years ago we had plans drawn up to convert the garage into a bedroom and ensuite,” she said.
“We decided not to do it at the time as it wasn’t on the priority list but lockdown got us thinking that we’d like to tackle this next. So a few months ago, we cleared it out… well Brian did… and that in itself was a huge task.”
With an empty canvas, they can begin work on the new space – and we can’t wait to see what they do with the place.
Pippa and Brian have been tackling specific areas of the home since they first moved into their Kildare house in April 2018.
As well as the hall, stairs and landing, they also completely transformed the kitchen area too putting their own stamp on the place.
