It was a big week here in Ireland, with the long-anticipated return to school. Parents have spent months and months waiting for their kids to be allowed to go back to the classroom and the time has finally arrived!
All over social media you can see photos of little ones with their uniforms on, excited to see their friends again, or even starting school or pre school and ready to make new ones!
Joining the many excited parents includes the lovely Pippa O’Connor. Pippa and husband Brain Ormond, shared some gorgeous snaps as their youngest headed off to “big school” this week.
Ollie, eight and Louis, five are absolutely beaming in their brand new navy uniforms.
Pippa, who is currently expecting her third child with Brian, shared the heart-warming photos to her Instagram, saying they now have “two big school-goers.” She admits she’s feeling a little tired but excited about both the boys being in school.
“A happy day all round with lots of smiles” she added.
It was no doubt a huge moment for their youngest Louis as he was excited to be in the same school as his big brother, but as it turned out, he got a little shy at his junior infants’ orientation.
Louis however, was all talk heading in as he’s “so excited to start big school, the same as Ollie.”
“I hope all of your little kids and the kids are getting on well this week it’s emotional, isn’t it? But it’s so exciting and you and they will be fine if you’ve had any wobbly moments this week it won’t last all will be fine,” she added.
