Pippa O’Connor has revealed the real reason she turned down a place on this year’s Dancing with the Stars.
The mum-of-two was approached to take part in the RTE show, but had to say no due to her busy schedule launching her new denim line Poco by Pippa and running her sold out Fashion Factory workshops across the country. However, she hasn’t ruled out taking part in the show in the future.
“It’s a good show, I’ve enjoyed it. I don’t know – if I ever had time to take part I’d love to.” she told the Irish Mirror.
“I knew I had a big batch of Fashion Factories sold for January and February so I knew I couldn’t do anything else.”
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, the model has admitted she’s a big fan of the romantic holiday, and her other half, Brian Ormond still makes a special effort to keep the romance alive.
“I think it’s nice to have a bit of an excuse – so what if it’s a Hallmark holiday, I still think it’s nice,” she said.
“Especially women, I think, who say ‘Oh no, I don’t like any of that, I don’t want those roses’, you still love it when you get it.
“[Brian is] good at organising things and trying to make time to do things by ourselves. He’s probably a bit better than I am at that.”
