Pippa O’Connor is remembering her dear friend Jenny Taaffe today, on the anniversary of her passing.
Jenny sadly died in August 2019, at just 41 years of age, following a battle with pancreatic cancer.
“Thinking of Jenny a lot this week. It’s a year since she passed away, which is hard to believe,” Pippa said on social media.
“As I turn another year older, I realise more than ever what a privilege growing older is. Health and happiness is the ultimate gift, everything else is a bonus.”
The pair formed an incredibly close bond when they started working together a number of years ago, and Pippa will always be grateful for the time they spent together.
Speaking to Ryan Tubridy, Pippa previously said, “I was introduced to Jenny and her husband Alan about five years ago. They were going to build a website for me and that started our relationship with Jenny and Alan.
“Brian and I got on with them straight away – they’re a husband and wife team, we’re a husband and wife team, and we just clicked.”
She continued, “She kind of indirectly became my manager, my mentor, just became a really good friend of mine.
“She was just the most bright, positive, uplifting person, and I think she did more in 41 years than most of us will ever do. She was just amazing.”
Our thoughts are with them all on this difficult day.
