Pippa O’Connor has paid tribute to her late mother, who would have been 65 this week.
The businesswoman took to Instagram stories to raise a glass to her mum, and share her thoughts on grief.
In a photo of a glass of wine, she said: “Happy Birthday Lulu – my lovely mum would of been 65 today x”
Louise passed away suddenly in October 2014.
Pippa also shared a post describing the difficulty and permanency of grief.
The quote read: “The reality is that you will grieve forever. You will not ‘get over’ the loss of a loved one; you will learn to live with it.
“You will heal and you will rebuild yourself around the loss you have suffered.
“You will be whole again but you will never be the same. Nor should you be the same, nor would you want to.”
