Pippa O’Connor has shared an honest insight into life as a businesswoman, admitting it can be so tough at times, that she has considered throwing in the towel.
The mum-of-two created POCO a number of years ago, an online clothing company, which has since expanded into pop-up shops around the country.
As well as her range of denims, diaries and candles, Pippa regularly collaborates with brands on beauty collections, and has penned two books – one of which will be out later this year.
In the new book, The Pippa Guide: Live Your Best Life, she opens up about juggling an array of business ventures and shares how daunting it was – and can be – to jump into new projects.
Taking to social media, Pippa said, “I’ve given an honest insight into my business- how I set it up. How we now run several businesses while managing teams and delegating – something I had to learn to do.
“I’m not an expert on any of the above, some days I feel like quitting the lot. I’ve just shared my thoughts and experiences as best I can in the hope it’ll help, inspire or give a little boost to keep going.”
The book, which will also cover fashion, beauty and interiors, lands on shelves this October.
“My aim with this book is to empower like-minded people – to remind everyone that they are capable of so much,” she said.
“We all just need some encouragement and our confidence boosted at times. I know I do.”
