Pierce Brosnan has revealed the sad news that two of his friends have passed away from Covid-19. In a recent interview with Parade magazine he shared his heartbreak; “I lost two friends to Covid-19.”
The Navan native shared that; “They were friends of 45 years . . . No matter where you are and how beautiful it may be, you still have this awful threat to life looming.”
“You have to keep pushing the rock uphill, and you have to keep involved in life. We are at war. People are dying.”

Pierce, who lives in Kauai, a Hawaiian island has been in lockdown there with his wife Keely and their children.
In a recent interview on The Late Late he spoke about his wife with whom he had just celebrated his 26th wedding anniversary. Ryan asked him ‘what’s their secret?’
Pierce revealed their long and happy marriage comes from “supporting each other and loving each other” and that they’ve “been blessed with a good friendship and love” and that they “enjoy each others company.”
He went on to say that she has “been the most magnificent mother.” However he was still realistic as he shares that “There’s always going to be problems, you have to know how to solve these problems and get on with it.”

Before signing off Ryan of course asked him about the current global pandemic and for Pierce’s thoughts. The 007 actor believes it’s “definitely a time to reset” and that we have to “weather the storm.”
