Now that The Late Late Show has been conducting it’s interviews via video link, we never know quite who to expect on the show each Friday as they can chat to someone anywhere in the world.
Last night’s show saw Ryan speaking with Ireland’s own, Pierce Brosnan, as he joined the show all the way from sunny Kauai, one of Hawaii’s many islands.
Only recently Pierce and his wife, Keely celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary and Ryan asked him ‘what’s their secret?’
Pierce revealed their long and happy marriage comes from “supporting each other and loving each other” and that they’ve “been blessed with a good friendship and love” and that they “enjoy each others company.”
He went on to say that she has “been the most magnificent mother.” However he was still realistic as he shares that “There’s always going to be problems, you have to know how to solve these problems and get on with it.”
Before signing off Ryan of course asked him about the current global pandemic and for Pierce’s thoughts. The 007 actor believes it’s “definitely a time to reset” and that we have to “weather the storm.”
