Not for the first time, Paul Mescal is auctioning off some Normal People merch in order to raise much-needed funds for charity. This time, the piece in question is the actual GAA shorts Paul wore playing the character of Connell Waldron.
The online auction will raise funds for the Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation, taking place from Friday, August 21 at 10 am to Friday, August 28 at 7 pm.
Paul revealed the news via Jack & Jill’s Twitter account, as well as sharing the exciting fact that the shorts will also be signed by him too. Plenty of other famous faces have also donated items to be auctioned, including Shane Lowry and Conor Murray.
We are very excited to announce that IRISH actor @mescal_paul has kindly signed Connell’s GAA shorts as part of the #AuctionThrill4JackandJill Charity Online Auction taking place from Friday August 21 at 10am to Friday August 28 at 7pm. In other news, The Rolling Stones have shared a sneak peek of their new music video, ‘Scarlet’, starring Paul himself. The clip shows Paul in what is presumably a hotel room, mumbling something about being fine to the camera and drinking what we’re guessing looks like whiskey. It seems things just keep getting better and better for Paul Mescal.
