Great news for Paul Mescal fans, as we’re about to see him in another starring role.
Since appearing in the TV adaptation of Sally Rooney’s bestselling novel Normal People, which aired last year, the Kildare native has gone from strength to strength.
Starring alongside an amazing Irish cast, Game of Thrones star Aisling Franciosi and Fair City’s Declan Conlon, in an Irish psychological thriller titled ‘God’s Creatures’.
Marion O’Dwyer, Toni O’Rourke and Emily Watson are also in the star-studded cast.
The psychological drama is “set in a rain-swept Irish fishing village, and focuses on a mother who lies to protect her son and the devastating impact that choice has on her community, her family and herself”, according to Deadline.
This comes after the recent news that Paul deleted his Instagram page devasted some fans. Speaking with The Sun, it has been revealed that he felt he was getting ‘sucked in’ to the app.
The source revealed that as well as ‘wanting to keep his feet on the ground’ he deactivated his account because “it just became a drain.”
