As we prepare for the return of the all new Late Late Show this Friday, Patrick Kielty’s house is feeling the devastating loss of beloved dog, Lily.
Cat Deeley took to Instagram on Monday to announce the passing of their furry friend and to share a heartbreaking tribute to her forever companion.
The 46-year-old shared a sweet video filled with memories of Lily, which was set to the song You’ve Got A Friend by James Taylor.
The TV presenter captioned the sweet video: “To our sweet Lilly. Thank you for being the best companion there ever was. Oh how we’ll miss you.”

Continuing on, she quoted: “Dogs’ lives are short, too short, but you know that going in. You know the pain is coming, you’re going to lose a dog, and there’s going to be great anguish, so you live fully in the moment with her, never fail to share her joy or delight in her innocence, because you can’t support the illusion that a dog can be your lifelong companion. There’s such beauty in the hard honesty of that, in accepting and giving love while always aware that it comes with an unbearable price – Dean Koontz.”
A host of friends and fans took to the comments section to share their condolences and love for the family and their late furry friend.

Laura Whitmore shared her love saying: “So sorry, rest in peace Lily. And cherish all those memories.”
Our heart goes out to the family at this heartbreaking time.
