Last night’s episode of Operation Transformation was eye-opening for the public, when leader Thomas Hynes took to the scales.

The 50-year-old Longford man is delighted to be getting some of his life back even managing to have some fun in his love life again – just some of the many benefits he has seen from his new plan.

This week we saw him make room for a regular Wednesday date night with his lovely wife, Eileen, enjoying a night out in a restaurant with some delicious food options.

Thomas spoke about getting his mojo back saying: “I always feel like a teenager around Eileen”, well this is just one step closer to the couple enjoying their life together to the fullest again.

Eileen was delighted with her husband’s new found stamina revealing they: “will need a new mattress after this”. It was clear to everyone including presenter Kathryn Thomas that both were benefitting hugely from the plan and fitness expert, Karl Henry also commented that it was brilliant to see the pair indulging in the romance they felt they had previously lost.

The main point to be taken from this episode was the importance of mens health and getting regular check ups to avoid and prevent issue from developing or even getting worse.

Thomas has made some serious progress with his metabolic age dropping from 65 to 60, losing a further three pounds meaning he’s lost a stone since the beginning of this season’s show – it’s quite the feat but when you have the motivation anything is possible.
