Eamonn Holmes may have landed himself in hot water with wife Ruth Langsford, after an hilarious blunder on Good Morning Britain.
While presenting a segment on Pippa Middleton’s wedding, the Irish host revealed that Charlotte Hawkins was the most beautiful bride he has ever seen – momentarily forgetting about his other half!
Filling in for Piers Morgan on GMB, the much-loved tv star referred to the Charlotte as “stunning, absolutely beautiful” on her wedding day, but she quickly stopped him from going any further.
“You’re supposed to say your own though,’ Charlotte said through laughs. ‘I’m very touched but you’re going to be in all sorts of trouble.”
Eamonn was quick to add, “Outside Ruth of course!”
His wife addressed the remarks later on This Morning, joking, “I might not be [your wife] for much longer.”
