Electric Picnic is happening – this weekend!
If you’re heading down to Stradbally to enjoy Ireland’s biggest music festival over the next few days, there’s a few things you should be aware of.
You can find all of that information here, including weather, travel options, and of course, stage times.
But if you know all of that and are still looking for some recommendations for the weekend, look no further. We got you.
Here are nine acts you need to catch at Electric Picnic 2025.
1. Chappell Roan

Okay, obvious, but you need to head to Chappell Roan if you’re in Stradbally this weekend.
The Pink Pony Queen is performing on Friday night, and after the few years she’s had, you’re gonna want to see her.
She’s an amazing performer, her set is unreal, and you’re sure to have a stunning time.
2. Kneecap

Also obvious, but go see Kneecap this weekend at EP – just do it.
The lads have been busy on the festival circuit this year, raising awareness of the genocide currently happening in Palestine.
A lot of the time, their messaging has been cut short, or censored altogether. EP organisers, however, have promised that “mics won’t be switched off” for artists who wish to share political messaging.
This comes after the Mary Wallopers had their set cut short at a festival in the UK for speaking about the situation in Gaza.
Kneecap take the main stage on Saturday.
3. Confidence Man

Electro pop duo Confidence Man will be hitting up the 3Music stage on Friday night (the same time Hozier is on, but look, you win some, you lose some).
They’ve got great songs, their choreo is super cute, and they also look great, which is a plus.
That ‘Gossip’ song is a banger, truly.
4. KhakiKid

Crumlin born rapper Abdu Huss, otherwise known as KhakiKid, has had a seriously good year.
Often compared to Mac Miller, KhakiKid’s music style is a mix of alternative rap with fun, upbeat melodies.
He’ll be playing the Electric Arena on Saturday afternoon – get down there.
5. For Those I Love

Looking for something a little different this weekend? Head over to For Those I Love in the 3Music stage on Saturday.
The musical project from David Andrew Balfe was met with critical acclaim in 2021 following the release of his debut album under the For Those I Love name.
Known for his often despondent spoken word lyrics mixed with dance beats, David dedicated this first record to his late friend, Paul Curran, who passed away in 2018.
6. Rachel Galvo

Fresh from the Edinburgh Fringe, Rachel Galvo is playing EP this weekend – and she’s one comedian you don’t want to miss.
Her Shite Feminist show has received rave reviews this year, as she combines TikTok comedy with her own experiences of going to an all-girls school in Ireland.
She’s also nominated for an InstaStar award this year – you can vote here!
7. Kyla Cobbler

Another InstaStar nominee on the comedy bill this year, Kyla Cobbler will be storming the Comedy Arena this Saturday night.
Kyla’s one of the fastest rising comedians in Ireland at the minute, and rightly so.
Her sell-out Irish tour was a hit, covering everything from dating abroad to the complexities of family life. She’s one to watch!
8. I’m Grand Mam
