Nicky Byrne has paid a heartfelt tribute to his late father, on the seventh anniversary of his death.
Nicky Snr sadly passed away in 2009 following a heart attack, and the former Westlife star can’t believe how quickly the time has gone by.
Sharing some snaps of himself with his dad, Nicky took to social media to mark the occasion.
Captioning the picture, Nicky wrote, “Can’t believe my dad is seven years gone today. Wow.”
The Dubliner then shared a picture of the pair which read, “My dad, my best mate and my inspiration.”
He added, “What a ledge my dad was. Hug your parents folks x.”
The radio star took part in the Eurovision earlier this year, and previously admitted that his dad has been “working overtime” in heaven to ensure he was given the chance to sing for Ireland this year.
