Earlier in the week it was rumoured that Nicky Byrne could be making his movie debut soon, and the former Westlife star has added fuel to the fire.
Filmaker Adrian Butchart recently told The Sun newspaper that he would like Nicky to play goalie Kasper Schmeichel in a movie about Jamie Vardy, and a spokesperson for the singer told VIP Magazine it would definitely be a fitting role for him.
Speaking exclusively to us, the insider said, “His name is in the mix for loads of things, and I suppose it’s an easy one to have his name attached as he actually was a pro footballer!”
Now, Nicky has added to the speculation by sharing a throwback of his footballing days, where he played for Leeds United in 1995.
The Dubliner said, “Wowzers! Great memories, great keeper, shit kit.”
Hmm, perhaps we’ll be seeing a change of career for Nicky sooner than expected…
