Nicki Minaj fans were left disappointed when the queen of rap arrived on stage an hour and a half late on Saturday night.

The Grammy nominee brought her ‘Pink Friday’s 2’ tour’ to Dublin’s Malahide Castle over the weekend. Fans reported that the Starships singer appeared on stage 90 minutes late and only played for 45 minutes.

Her fans were left waiting in the rain with some even abandoning the event, believing she was not going to appear.

There was a slew of angry comments under the rapper’s latest Instagram post captioned: “This is not a festival. This was #GagCityDublin IRELAND a few hours ago”.

One fan wrote: “Worst gig ever, arrived on stage at 9.50, kept fans waiting in the lashings of rain, proceeded to have loads of
length costume changes, lots of fans left disappointed.”

Another fan commented: “What an absolute disgrace, kids waiting in the rain for hours for not even a 45-minute performance.
You are so disrespectful to your fans.”

In another post, she wrote: “We @Gucci in IRELAND #HeavyOnIt @sabatods @maherxjridi IN. LOVE. WITH. DUBLIN. #GagCityDUBLIN
They WIN.”

It wasn’t just Irish fans who were vexed by the Super Bass singer, Romanian fans were also left disappointed when she

The 41-year-old refused to play her slot at the event due to planned protests in the area. In a post on X, the star wrote: “Out of concern for the well-being of our team and myself, I have been advised by my security detail not to travel to Romania’s festival tonight due to safety concerns regarding protests in the area. I look forward to seeing you all at another time.

“As a mom, I have to make sure I’m making sound decisions for me to make it home to my son and for my team to make it home to their families.”

Nicki Minaj is due to play at London’s Wireless Festival on July 12th.
