Niall Horan Cancels His 2020 ‘Nice To Meet Ya’ Tour

Amid the current Covid-19 pandemic festivals, gigs and shows are being cancelled left, right and centre.

However many stars have been postponing their shows and updating their fans with new, rescheduled dates, like Harry Styles did earlier last month.

Niall Horan has instead made the difficult decision to cancel his 2020 tour, without announcing new dates;

“Given the unprecedented circumstances I have decided to not move forward with the ‘Nice To Meet Ya’ world tour this year.”

Posting to Instagram yesterday he announced the sad news but said “I am focusing on writing and recording more in order to be back touring next year with more music to play for you all.”

Apologising to all the fans who have bought tickets for the tour, he said that he will be back touring in 2021.

some news I KNOW you lovely people will want to hear. My second album is called ‘Heartbreak weather’ and is out March 13th. I have worked so hard on this album for the last 18 months and I am soooo ready to release it. I had the time of my life making it and when you hear it on March 13th, I hope you’ll be able to hear that in the music. 2020 is going to be a fun year for us, let’s enjoy it to the max. We are so gutted, as everyone is loving his latest album and t was sure to be an unreal tour.

Here’s hoping he’ll back on an Irish stage as soon as possible.

He also said; “I cannot wait to be back. For the time being, please stay safe everyone.”
