Niall Horan has said that he is not tempted to go into acting and would prefer to stick to music.
The 23-year-old is busy promoting his new single Slow Hands while his former bandmate Harry is promoting his new film.
Harry Styles is starring in his first feature film, Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk, out later this month.
Niall isn’t eager to follow in his friends footsteps however, adding that he’s happy in what he’s doing.
”I don’t think I have the patience for it. There’s a lot of waiting around. With music you’re doing it yourself and you feel like you’re in more control,” he told the Sun.
”I’m a bit of a perfectionist as well. And I feel like I’m alright at this music thing so I might stick to it.”
While he might be happy in his career, he may well be looking for a change in location.
The Mullingar man was in Australia this week, when he professed his love for the country and even talked about moving there.
“I’m just obsessed with this country.. does anyone want to give up their job? I’m just trying to find an excuse to move down,” he said on Australian chat show Sunrise.
Niall was in Australia to perform on the final of the Voice.
The singer is now in Japan, where he was met by a sea of fans as he entered the country.
He posted a video to his Instagram page which he captioned: “Well that was one hell of a welcome Japan!”
