Niall Horan celebrated his 30th birthday this week, and it was one he won’t forget.
Despite it being his special day, Niall was busy working, as he is currently a coach on The Voice USA. But the cast and crew weren’t going to let the day pass by without marking the milestone.
In honour of Niall’s birthday, they organised a surprise performance of the Happy Birthday Song for the Mullingar man.
Upon walking on to set, the singer was greeted by the studio lights turning green, and a keyboardist playing Happy Birthday in the style of the Scottish bagpipes, along with a guitarist.

Sharing the sweet moment online, The Voice’s Instagram account wrote: “help us wish our Irish lad a huge HBD!!!”
While Niall co-star, country music legend Reba McEntire commented: “Have a fancy birthday [Niall] Lucky me, I get to sit next to this Irish gentleman every show!”
And fellow The Voice coach, singer/songwriter John Legend said: “Happy birthday brother!”
Niall was clearly appreciative of the gesture, re-sharing the video, with the caption “my crew.”
The former One Direction star also thanked fans for celebrating his big day.
Sharing a carousel of photos, he wrote: “30! Thanks for all the birthday wishes yesterday.”
