Niall Horan has insisted that One Direction will “definitely” reunite in the future.
The popular boy band announced they were taking a hiatus back in 2015 to work on solo projects, and fans have been eagerly awaiting news of their reunion ever since.
The Mullingar native has assured fans that he is confident the band will reform when the time is right.
“It will definitely happen, of course! As I’ve said many times, we’d be stupid not to.” he on US radio station Nova’s Smallzy Surgery earlier this week.
Niall is currently working on his first solo album, and he was blown away by the reaction to his first single, This Town, which he released last September.
“We just put it out to kind of let people know that I was actually doing something… I knew the song was good when I wrote it… but the reaction to it has been insane.” he said.
The 23-year-old’s debut album was expected to be released at the beginning of summer, but he recently revealed that he’s “pushing back” the release date, so he can get it perfect for fans.
