Niall Horan has hit out at US President Donald Trump, following another mass shooting in the US.

The fatal incident occured yesterday in a Pittsburg synangogue, with the death toll already at 11 lives.

People all over the world have been sharing tributes to those who sadly lost their lives, as well as urging president Trump to open up the discussion of gun reform in the United States.

Following Trump’s statement after the attack, Niall took to twitter to contest his words.

“Trump kept saying in his chat with reporters that if there was an armed guard inside the synagogue that the “numbers” would have been a lot lower,” the 25-year-old tweeted to his over 39 million followers.

“The fact is if there was no guns at all , there wouldn’t have been a shooter in the first place. Get a grip.”

Many agreed with the former One Direction stars comments, and are urging other stars to get behind the push for gun laws in the hope of preventing more unnecessary tragedies.

The Mullingar man also revealed that he has been resting up as he recovers from sinus surgery, following his hugely successful Flickr world tour.
