Niall Horan has been a busy man the last few years.
He released his album, The Show and immediately went on a world tour.
Last week the Mullingar man performed the final show of his world tour in Bogota, Colombia.
Speaking at the show he announced to the audience that he will be taking a break from performing and music.

After the sensation that was One Direction, Niall Horan’s solo career has been nothing but a success. With three studio albums under his belt and an 86-show world tour that included a soldout two-night run at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Horan’s career has continued to flourish. However, the singer has decided to take a step back.
And we don’t blame him!
During his final show at the Movistar Arena he confirmed he would be going on a hiatus by saying: “This stands from tomorrow onwards, you’ll never find me.”
He went on to say: “And I’m gonna disappear for a while.”
It is unclear how long he plans on being on hiatus.
Niall took to X, formerly Twitter, to express his gratitude to all of his fans by saying: “I’ll never be able to thank you all enough for what you’ve done for me. Every single one of you who came out to each show and made it all an unforgettable experience. Let’s do it all again sometime. Love you.”
If you are a Niall Horan fan like us though do not worry, the Mullingar singer promised his eventual return with new music saying: “I’m gonna make you guys a brand new album and I will be back, I promise.”
Let’s just hope this hiatus is not as long as One Direction’s.
