Nathan Carter has sent out a warning to his fans about fake social media accounts pretending to be him.

The country singer posted messages on all of his accounts asking fans to be weary of people attempting to catfish them.

He asked his followers to report and block any one suspicious.

Several of Nathan fans replied to the concerning posts, sharing their own experience of the fake pages.

“I’m so sick of all the fake accounts there’s literally a new one every week and the messages they send to some people are shocking x” one woman on Twitter said.

Others shared worrying messages about fake accounts asking fans for money or gifts.

“Instagram the worst! asking for money and all pretending to be u! Its ridiculous” Michelle Hogan said.

“Someone pretending to be you has asked a friend of mine for money for various things Nathan” Noele Clarke added.

The Wagon Wheel singer also shared the message on Instagram, which may be easier to replicated because his account does not yet have a blue tick.
