Nathan Carter took a last minute request and spontaneously performed for 400 elderly people at their Christmas party.
Last night the country singer played a sold out gig in West County Hotel, Ennis, but he was spotted just before his show and the gardaí asked him to surprise 400 elderly people at their Christmas party in the hotel, and he happily obliged.
The Clare Division Older Persons Christmas party were impressed by Nathan’s impromptu performance of his hit song Wagon Wheel and the party goers described Nathan as ‘good craic’.
“He started with Wagon Wheel and, honestly, within a minute more than half of the party were up on their feet dancing,” one person told the Irish Independent.
An Garda Síochána took to Facebook to thank Nathan for his appearance and share a photo of him with party goers.
They captioned the photo saying, “A big thank you to Nathan Carter for calling into the Clare Division Older Persons Christmas party at West County Hotel, Ennis this afternoon. Rock me Mamma!”
