Vogue Williams shared her beauty secrets with VIP Magazine.
What’s your first makeup memory?
My first memory of makeup definitely starts with lip balm and lip gloss. My mum was always applying something to her lips, whether it was a shiny gloss or just a simple balm, so naturally, I picked up the habit from her. It became such a little obsession that my teachers actually asked my mum to tell me to stop putting stuff on my lips at school! I was completely hooked from an early age, and honestly, I haven’t stopped since. Another standout memory is clear mascara. It was my secret trick when I wasn’t technically allowed to wear proper makeup. It gave my lashes a little something, but since it was clear, no one could really say anything. It was my first experience of finding those clever beauty loopholes!
Tell us your morning and evening skincare routine.
Skincare for me is all about simplicity and consistency, it’s always cleanse, serum, and moisturise, with a few tweaks depending on the time of day.
Morning: I like to keep my morning cleanse light, just enough to freshen up my skin. Then I follow with a vitamin C serum or something hydrating to wake up my face. And no matter what, I always wear SPF 50. My favourite is the one from ASAP, it’s lightweight, sinks in beautifully, and wears so well under makeup. It doesn’t leave a heavy or greasy feel, which is a must for me.
Evening: My nighttime routine is a bit more involved, especially if I’ve worn makeup. I always double cleanse to make sure everything is off. Then I rotate between serums depending on how my skin is feeling. Every three nights, I use the Bare by Vogue Serum, and sometimes I mix in the Bare by Vogue tanning drops, because honestly, with wearing SPF all the time, my face goes so pale it’s nearly grey! On the other nights, I switch it up with a different serum. I finish with a rich, nourishing night cream to lock everything in. It’s my little wind-down ritual and helps me feel ready for bed.

What’s the best beauty hack or piece of advice you’ve ever received?
SPF – without a doubt. It might sound like a boring tip, but it’s the one that stuck with me the most, thanks to my mum. She drilled it into me early on, and I’m so grateful she did. I used to be the type who would sit in the sun for hours with olive oil, trying to get a deep tan, but now I’m all about being sun-safe. That’s also a huge part of why I’m so passionate about sunless tanning, it gives you that golden glow without the damage. I really live and breathe that message with my brand. Oh, and brows! Never underestimate the power of good brows. I get mine done with Kim O’Sullivan at the Dublin Makeup Academy, she’s incredible. Brows can totally transform your face.
What’s your favourite beauty treatment to get done?
A tan, always! It just gives me an instant boost – I feel healthier, more confident, and like I have my life together. Last week I didn’t bother, was feeling a bit meh, and honestly looked drained. Then I popped on a bit of gradual tan and felt brand new again. It takes such little effort but makes a massive difference to how I look and feel.
What’s the one product that makes you feel pulled together?
Concealer is my ultimate can’t-live-without product. Just a few dabs can make me look way more awake, even if I’m exhausted. I love the under-eye corrector from Beauty Pie – it’s magic. Luna by Lisa has a brilliant one too that I highly rate, and I also use Aimee Connolly’s Brighten Up. They all give great coverage without being cakey. Also, getting my nails done makes me feel really polished – even if I don’t always keep up with it as often as I should. But when they’re done, I just feel that little bit more put together.

What’s the secret to the best golden glow?
Prep is everything. The night before, I exfoliate thoroughly and use the Bare by Vogue Tan Removal Gel to really smooth everything out. Then I’ll shave, moisturise the dry bits, and give myself a bit of a pamper. When you tan after that, your skin feels soft, glowy, and it goes on so much more evenly. It’s that little bit of extra effort that makes a big difference.
Beauty Heroes
Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lip Liner
This is my forever number one. It suits literally everyone, and I always feel a bit more glam when I have it on.
NARS Foundation in shade Stromboli
I love this foundation for its coverage. It’s not too heavy but gives a gorgeous, flawless finish. It’s a great match for my skin tone and lasts all day.
Brow Aid Brow SOS + Eyelash Serum
I use this religiously for my lashes and brows. My lashes are naturally a bit sparse, so this helps them grow longer and look fuller. Total game-changer.
Bare by Vogue Gradual Tan
I use this constantly. It gives me that healthy glow without looking like I’ve made a massive effort. It’s subtle, smells great, and builds up beautifully.
Bare by Vogue Serum
It’s just one of those products that’s super easy to slot into your routine. It gives my face a lovely glow, especially when I’m looking a bit tired or pale. Love it under makeup too.
